Employers face new breastfeeding support rules under passed Bill
National Assembly has passed the Breastfeeding Mothers Bill, 2024, sponsored by nominated MP Sabina Chege, seeking to require employers to provide lactation rooms, breastfeeding breaks and flexible working arrangements while expanding access to baby-changing facilities in public spaces.
