EU says Palestinian polls should be held ‘as soon as possible’
The EU’s foreign affairs chief, Kaja Kallas, urged for Palestinian elections to be held promptly following a delay until 2027. The postponement of the elections, originally set for November, was confirmed by Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas.
