English proficiency among 35,000 Vietnamese teachers not encouraging: ETS executive
A survey of 35,000 teachers in six Vietnamese provinces and cities has found their English proficiency to be generally ‘not encouraging,’ according to an executive at the U.S.-based Educational Testing Service (ETS), highlighting the need to improve teachers’ language skills as Vietnam seeks to make English a second language in schools.
