Federal judge strikes Texas AG’s effort to end Harris County’s misdemeanor bail reform decree
In a 40-page opinion Monday, United States District Judge Lee Rosenthal ruled that the attorney general's office exceeded the amount of time it has to make certain arguments in the case, therefore making its legal challenge to vacate the consent decree moot.
