Child’s report of mother’s death prompts investigation in Tampa, deputies say

Hillsborough deputies were investigating Wednesday after a woman was found dead at a Tampa apartment complex, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded about 11:40 a.m. to the 12200 block of North 16th Street after the agency’s dispatch center received a 911 call from a person reporting a child was outside “saying their mother is dead,” according to a news release.…
