Rahul Gandhi Slams Modi Government Over Detention of Ankita's Parents
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticised the Modi government after the parents of Ankita Bhandari were detained during a protest at India Gate, demanding that Dushyant Kumar Gautam’s appointment as Sikkim governor be put on hold until the CBI investigation into the 2022 murder case is completed. The parents were released around 5 am, while Ankita’s father issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the Centre.
