Bank manager’s alert saves Hyderabad retiree from losing another Rs 2 lakh in nude video call scam
A retired employee from Hyderabad’s AS Rao Nagar allegedly lost nearly Rs 18 lakh to fraudsters who blackmailed him using a recorded personal video call. The scam was uncovered when a vigilant bank manager alerted police as the victim attempted to transfer another Rs 2 lakh.
