Lorry driver, two cooks fined RM7,000 each over RM2mil chip theft

BALIK PULAU: A lorry driver and two Indian men working as cooks were fined RM7,000 each by the magistrate’s court here today after pleading guilty to stealing 30,000 integrated circuit chips worth RM2 million from a factory in Bayan Lepas last month.
