The initiative is being organised under Special Campaign 6.0, in accordance with guidelines issued by the Centre’s Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) and the Ministry of Mines. The campaign also focuses on waste segregation under the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026
