SC issues notice to ECI on Rahul Gandhi-led plea against Special Intensive Revision exercise
The Supreme Court issued notice to the Election Commission of India on a plea filed by Rahul Gandhi and other INDIA bloc leaders challenging the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The court tagged the petition with similar pending cases and said it would examine the conduct of one of the petitioners at the next hearing.
