Political disputes, technology risks will test the IEC's credibility
The Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) launched its National Results Operation Centre (ROC) in Midrand on October 28. The Commission has made an important contribution towards a public culture of political competition and tolerance, of diverse political views, and of enhancing the quality of democracy, says the writer.
